Rosie is renowned for his circus-type plays on defense and his graceful power on offense. He began his pro-beach volleyball career in 1997. By the end of the 2008 pro-beach season, Rosie had entered 134 events, advanced to the finals 30 times, winning 11 tournament championships. Rosie has a unique group of fans, called "Rosie's-Radiers," that cheer for him and at the same time torment his opponents.
